A 100% gluten free cannoli shop! You wouldn’t think it would get better than that, but it does. On the weekends they also serve rotating specials, like piadinas or breakfast pasta (don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!). You must visit for a coffee, icy granita, breakfast/lunch and of course the amazing cannoli.
Now lets talk the cannoli because what Kate and Dom, the owners have created is something special. The cannoli flavours change with the seasons, utilising their own honey from the beehive out the back and their friends and families home grown fruits. You won’t be bored with their variety, but make sure you get in quick if you see a flavour you like, as it might disappear! They also do wholesale where you can buy the shells and filling and pipe them yourself at home for your next party (definitely doing this for Christmas next year!).
They also run cooking classes! I did the first one they run, as a Christmas present from my boyfriend, Simon (he always gives the best experiences for gifts). It started with a grazing platter and aperol spritz, before we made our own cannoli to eat and take home. Check out the pictures below. It tasted better than I remembered from my trip to Italy in 2015. It was a fully hands on class, which was the best thing about it.
Where to find them: Visit their store in Pascoe Vale – check out their opening hours here. They also have the cutest cannoli van, which pipes at markets all over the place, so keep an eye out they might be coming to a town near you soon.
FYI this post is very positive and not sponsored at all! I honestly just love their passion for not only providing gluten free food, but authentic Italian gluten free food. They don’t skimp on ingredients, and the results come through in the flavour and texture.
